History of COSMA
Know About COSMA
COSMA’s story began in 1988 when our founder, Shri Satish Kazi, along with Late Mr. Asim Mazumdar, Late Mr. Kamlakar Phadke, and Late Mr. N.M Shah, noticed a troubling trend in the Control Panel Manufacturing industry. Manufacturers were meeting only at customers’ locations, leading to unhealthy competition and animosity among them. To address this issue and promote a spirit of collaboration, they came together and established the “Control Panel & Switchgear Manufacturers’ Association” (COSMA) on April 1, 1988.
Since its inception, COSMA has witnessed remarkable growth, expanding its presence to 16 states in India and Union Territories. With a membership exceeding 400, COSMA has transformed competitors into a close-knit family of friendly peers who learn, grow, and support each other. This journey reflects our commitment to fostering a harmonious and thriving ecosystem within the Control Panel and Switchgear Manufacturing industry.
